How to join
We always welcome new members. You are welcome to come and train with us at any time, no matter your level of expertise. Simply bring some comfortable clothing (jogging, t-shirt or a martial arts gi of course). Feel free to contact us at ktk@cern.ch beforehand. The training sessions take place every Friday from 12:15 to 13:30 (but you can leave earlier if necessary). To keep in touch with the club activities, subscribe to our mailing list ktk-members@cern.ch on CERN E-Groups (for CERN personnel) or by sending us a request at ktk@cern.ch.
Registration
The KTK is a section of the CERN Club of Martial Arts. To become a member you just need to print and fill the registration form and send it to ktk@cern.ch or bring it with you at the next training session. Registration is open to all, not only to CERN personnel. There are no registration fees.
Fees
One initiation training session is free.
The cost of each session of 75 minutes is 10 CHF to be paid in quarterly installments of 120 CHF.
Non CERN employees must also subscribe insurance against accidents relating to the practice of sports and leisure. CERN members are automatically covered by their UNIQA contract. The training session take place in the dojo of the Ecole Bellavista II, avenue de Vaudagne, 39, Meyrin.
